How Lanna Ruen Handles a Transit Stay
Every stay at Lanna Ruen begins with one question: when does your next flight depart? From that answer, everything else follows — which room type makes sense, when breakfast should be served, when the shuttle needs to leave and whether a wake-up call is needed. The booking process is straightforward: message or call, share your arrival and departure windows, and we will confirm the most suitable package and prepare accordingly.
Check-in is handled at any hour of the day or night. The front desk team reviews each guest's flight window on arrival and sets an internal reminder for the shuttle or departure. Luggage is stored without paperwork delays. Rooms are prepared in advance of the agreed arrival time so there is no waiting in a lobby with heavy bags.

Daytime Rest Room
A quiet, curtained room for travellers with a long wait between flights. Freshly made bed, a warm rainfall shower, complimentary tea and coffee and gentle Wi-Fi throughout. Suited to solo guests and couples who simply want to wash, nap and feel refreshed before boarding. Luggage may be kept at the desk, and a soft wake-up call can be set on request.

Overnight Stay with Airport Shuttle
A comfortable double room for a single night in a calm lane a short ride from Chiang Mai Airport, paired with a complimentary shuttle on a relaxed timetable. The room includes blackout curtains for daytime sleeping, a kettle and a small desk, with a light breakfast served from early morning for guests with dawn departures. A gentle choice for those who arrive late and leave the next day.

Secure Luggage Handling
All luggage stored at the front desk is logged and kept behind a locked counter with a paper receipt issued to the guest.
Prepared Room on Arrival
Each room is cleaned and temperature-tested before the guest arrives. Linen is replaced between every stay, not at checkout only.
Data Protection Compliance
Passport details collected at check-in are handled according to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the statutory guesthouse registration requirement.
Fire Safety Certificate
Current fire-safety certificate from Chiang Mai municipality. All extinguishers and emergency lighting inspected annually.
